| I like serving others.
I like making sacrifices for others needs/wants before mine
I like seeing people smile.
I like knowing that someone's day might be a little brighter because of a stupid piece of mail I send them.
I like calling friends just to say hi.
I like it when friends call me back too.
I like knowing that I am welcome and not put down.
That's who I am.

| The Christmas season...
It's my favorite.
* I am in awe every time I think of Mary having Jesus in a barn. I can't think of one person that would even allow for that to cross their mind today, much less act on it.
* I love how everyone seems to be a little more cheerful during this time of year.
* I love Candlelight services -- usually on Christmas eve.
* I am thankful for the season of advent in most churches.
* I love all the traditions my family has, no matter how old we get!
* I love finding the perfect gift for someone. I love giving gifts even if it's not the perfect gift.
* I get excited when I hear the salvation bell ringers at wal-mart!
* I enjoy Christmas movies; probably too much!
* I also enjoy Christmas music.
* I just love the whole religious and worldly aspect of this season!
On another note, this year I get to play up the "Santa" idea with my kids! I LOVE how excited they get when they hear the words santa! (I'm glad they still get to be five year olds.)
Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

| Things that make me happy.... 1. HUGS 2. Leaves changing colors and then getting to play in them 3. sending friends mail 4. foot/back massages 5. getting surprises from friends 6. pictures 7. HUGS Things that I am not a big fan of.... 1. creepy crawlers, lizards, poodles 2. Having to teach five year olds what to do incase of a school shooting.... that's not a fun subject for anyone. 4. not being able to see my friends as often as I want 5. having to wait on my new computer to arrive... | | |
| I saw something very cool/strange tonight.... I was driving back from Little Rock in the rain. I kept seeing lightening every now and then, but nothing out of the ordinary. Until the whole sky lit up and then suddenly turned this bright green and then got really dark. I think lightening hit a transformer or something, but it was odd seeing it all happen from a distance! Yes I know, I am weird because lightening makes me happy! On top of the rain I also got WONDERFUL hugs tonight... so I'm a pretty happy girl! | | |
| This weekend was AMAZING! I got to see some wonderful friends from college. I got to see Tiger Tunes... as an alumni!! That is still crazy to me. I got to sleep in a KING size bed... I'm not sure why they make beds that big! haha I got to go on a picnic with a great friend too. (That was my favorite part!) I think God knew I needed a fun weekend before tomorrow comes... I have Parent/Teacher Conferences tomorrow from 4:00-7:00 then I have them on Tuesday from 3:45-6:30. I'M NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS AT ALL. While I was filling out my student's report cards I had this overwhelming feeling come over me. I am so afraid I am not teaching my students the correct way. I have this huge fear that I am not going to know how/what to teach them. Anyways, please pray for me Mon and Tues while I'm with all those parents! I hope you all have a great day.
